Workday Financials Consultant – Insurance Sector (Implementation Project) Outside IR35! Initially a 4–6 week contract, with the potential to extend for a further 12 months. Robert Half are supporting a client who has recently acquired an organisation and is now embarking on a major transformation programme to implement Workday Financials across its newly integrated business.

This is a key project role focused on reviewing the existing Workday environment and defining the current-state configuration, including system inputs, design, and process alignment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Review and assess existing Workday setup across the business
  • Define current configuration, inputs, and system design structure
  • Conduct detailed fit-gap analysis between current processes and future requirements
  • Support financial process alignment during acquisition integration
  • Contribute to design decisions across reporting, consolidation, and sub-consolidation
Ideal experience:
  • Strong background in Workday Financials implementations
  • Experience within the insurance sector (preferred)
  • Solid finance systems or finance transformation background
  • Knowledge of reporting, consolidation, and sub-consolidation in Workday
  • Experience working on multiple end-to-end Workday implementations
