Finance Business Partner | Holborn (Hybrid)
Robert Half are partnering with a growing, global private equity–backed utilities business to appoint a Finance Business Partner.
This is a high-impact role, partnering with senior leaders across group functions and providing clear financial insight to support strategic decision-making at executive and board level. The organisation plays a key role in delivering essential services and supporting decarbonisation, with safety, integrity and sustainability at the core of its values.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders across group functions.
- Provide commercial insight and constructive challenge to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Lead the preparation of group functional budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Support the preparation of board packs and executive presentations, translating financial data into clear, actionable insight.
- Build financial models and business cases to support investment decisions and cost initiatives.
- Monitor and control overhead spend, identifying risks, opportunities and efficiencies.
- Work closely with FP&A and Group Reporting to improve planning, reporting and governance processes.
Key requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven group-level business partnering experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders outside of finance, including Marketing, Technology and HR.
- Strong experience delivering month-end processes, including performance analysis and commentary
- Exposure to supporting board packs and presenting financial insight to senior leadership, including the CFO and CEO.
Package:
- £70-80,000 basic salary DOE
