The Company
My client is an Estate Agency based in Balham, South West London. Organic growth sees them recruiting for a Company Accountant.
The Role
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial result packs for board review.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Manage annual budget roll-overs and perform variance analysis against prior year spend and actuals.
- Cash Flow Management: Conduct monthly cash flow analysis to ensure adequate working capital and liquidity.
- Ledger Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and monitoring payment cycles.
- Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations alongside monthly virtual card, income, and intercompany loan reconciliations.
- Banking & Payroll: Schedule supplier payments, manage payroll in coordination with external teams, and ensure all tax deadlines are met.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report directly to directors and the board, providing ad-hoc reporting and answering complex financial queries.
- Operational Support: Provide coverage for client accounting functions and collaborate with external accountants for documentation and audit support.
Your Profile
To apply for the Balham based role you will need to hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA). You will be confident putting together Management and Financial Accounts and happy doing transactional finance. Please note: This role is in the office 5 days a week - Work hours are 8:45 - 6pm.
Salary & Benefits
£60,000 - £65,000 + discretionary bonus.
