Legal Cashier (Leeds)

We’re currently supporting a leading professional services firm in their search for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their established finance team based in Leeds City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-performing team responsible for a wide range of cashiering duties. The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of legal finance processes and regulatory requirements. For the right candidate this role offers: £28,000 – £31,000, hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home), great benefits and excellent progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Processing payments and receipts across client and office accounts Handling CHAPS, BACS, Faster Payments and international transactions Managing interest calculations and client money deposits Supporting multi-currency transactions for international offices Ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and VAT regulations Assisting with finance queries and project-based tasks, including system testing Requirements: Proven experience as a Legal Cashier Strong understanding of SRA and VAT rules Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook A proactive team player who can also work independently If you\’re a detail-oriented Legal Cashier looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
