This is a well-recognised and leading law firm based in the city of London. They support on providing a range of services including litigations and corporate law, constantly delivering & being ranked amongst the top law firms. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire an experienced Legal Biller to join their finance department.
The Legal Biller will be responsible for a number of duties in the finance department, managing the legal billing processes and collections. They will be responsible for a number of key tasks including:
- Process client bills using in-house software Aderant.
- Process electronic submissions of client invoices via various e-billing avenues.
- Review and edit pre-bills in response to attorney requests.
- Handle and process a high volume of complex bills through the system.
- Review and verify accuracy of the billing documentation as required.
- Review and suggest changes for improvement of internal processes.
- Answer any queries regarding billing & accounting questions.
- Support on ad hoc special projects and reports as directed by management team.
The ideal profile for this Legal Biller position should have the following attributes:
- Ideally 3/4 years of experience within a hands-on Legal Biller capacity.
- Experience working within the legal/solicitors sector.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Experience with Aderant would be highly advantageous.
- Confident with Excel (Pivot tables / VLOOKUPs).
Salary & Benefits: £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits including:
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
