Robert Half (an S&P 500 global staffing firm) is supporting a major consulting partner in sourcing two experienced Interim GRC Analysts to provide governance and risk support while a wider security and compliance uplift programme is underway. These roles will focus on hands-on delivery across risk assessments, ISO-aligned controls, governance embedding, third-party risk activity, and ongoing cyber governance within a large, complex regulated organisation.
Assignment Details
- Initial Duration: 3-6 months
- Location: Hybrid - minimum 1 on-site day in Leeds every 2 weeks
- Day Rate: £350-£400 per day via FCSA-accredited umbrella
- Start Date: January 2026
Key Skills and Experience
- Insurance or wider regulated environment experience highly desirable
- Strong hands-on experience within GRC functions covering risk, controls, and governance
- Practical delivery of technology and business risk assessments
- Working knowledge of ISO frameworks and applied controls management (not theory-only)
- Experience embedding governance into business and delivery teams, not short-term spike work
- Understanding of third-party risk management processes and assessments
- Ability to support BAU governance activities including policies, exceptions, and reporting
- Pragmatic, low-ego interpersonal style with the ability to influence without authority
- Proven track record of completing interim contracts end-to-end
Role Overview
You will join an established Cyber Governance and Risk team to support risk assessments, governance embedding, and ongoing ISO-aligned control activity during a period of team change and transformation. The role involves working closely with technology and business stakeholders to ensure governance practices are understood, applied, and sustained. This is not a tick-box compliance role. You will contribute to governance uplift, third-party risk activity, BAU processes, and ensure leadership has clear, accurate risk visibility across technology and change initiatives.
