Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with a UK-based innovation company to recruit a Junior IT Support Engineer for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
Role:

Provide 1st line technical support to staff (in-person, email, or remote)

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

Set up and configure laptops, peripherals, and user accounts for new employees

Maintain asset registers and inventory of IT equipment

Assist in managing IT ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution

Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and collaboration tools

Document technical procedures and FAQs for internal use

Assist with basic administration of IT systems and security protocols

Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or external providers as needed
Profile:

Strong interest in IT and technology with a desire to learn and grow

1 year experience in a similar role (internship, freelance, part-time, or full-time)

Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
