Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading defence sector organisation to recruit a JSM Architect on an ongoing contract basis, 6 months minimum. Remote working - UK based. ASAP start. SC clearance required.
The JSM Architect (SC Cleared) will take technical ownership of the Jira Service Management platform, defining its overall architecture, structure, and long-term scalability.
- Lead the design and management of workflows across JSM, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise service management standards.
- Own configuration management within JSM, establishing governance, structure, and consistency across projects and instances.
- Define and maintain the platform's data model and schema design, including request types, asset/configuration management, and SLA structures.
- Design and oversee integrations between JSM and wider toolchains (e.g. CMDB, Jira Software, Confluence, monitoring and ITSM tools).
- Act as technical authority on JSM best practice, advising stakeholders on platform strategy, roadmap, and future capability.
- Collaborate with service management, IT operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected JSM solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex configuration, workflow, and integration issues, providing expert-level resolution.
