Robert Half is supporting a global consulting firm in appointing a Business Analyst to join a major IT transformation programme for a FTSE-listed retail group. The role supports business-led technology change across multiple corporate and operational functions, with a focus on modernising internal systems and driving digital ways of working. This is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong experience in stakeholder-driven transformation, process mapping, and large-scale programme delivery within retail, property, or multi-site enterprise environments.

Contract Assignment Details:

  • Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
  • Start Date: July start c.1-2 week onboarding turnaround
  • Contract Length: Initial 3 months (with strong potential to extend)
  • Rate: £400 p/day via Ltd company (Outside IR35 is subject to assessment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business analysis activity within a key workstream of a wider IT transformation
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to gather, validate, and prioritise business requirements
  • Map current-state vs. future-state processes across retail and corporate teams
  • Document both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Liaise with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams
  • Support vendor engagement, implementation planning, and rollout activity
  • Contribute to change readiness, training plans, and post-implementation support frameworks

Background:

  • Proven Business Analyst experience on large-scale transformation or change programmes
  • Strong business process design, documentation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience across retail, FMCG real estate, or multi-location organisations
  • Comfortable working in hybrid environments with cross-functional delivery teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, or equivalent
