Robert Half are exclusively partnering with a leading global alternative asset manager to recruit a Fund Associate Director. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an elite investment business during an exciting phase of growth, offering direct exposure to a wide variety of private strategies, fund launches, and complex deal executions. You’ll work closely with front-office teams and play a critical role in the management and execution of high-value transactions across private markets.

The Role:

  • Managing transaction execution, including documentation review, banking arrangements, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinating with fund boards, deal teams, and fund administrators to ensure seamless transaction closing
  • Supporting fund lifecycle events including new fund launches, LP partner transfers, liquidations, and terminations
  • Ensuring compliance with fund structures, financing agreements, and local regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with internal tax, legal, and structuring teams across jurisdictions
  • Driving process improvements, enhancing operational controls, and building scalable, robust frameworks
  • Supporting wider operational initiatives and knowledge sharing across the Investment Operations team

About You:

  • Audit trained (ACA/ACCA qualified) + PQE experience in a commercial/fund position
  • Significant experience within Private Markets operations, private equity, or Private M&A (ideally with exposure to European fund structures)
  • Deep understanding of deal closing mechanics, fund governance, and banking facilities
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • European language skills are a plus
