A successful global manufacturing business based in Leeds is recruiting a Payroll & Workday Administrator to support payroll delivery and Workday administration. This is a hands-on role working closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, while maintaining high standards of data integrity within Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Maintain and update employee records within Workday, including starters, leavers, changes and absences
- Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll queries
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting and month-end processes
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- Support audits, system updates and process improvements
Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience essential
- Hands-on experience using Workday - advantageous yet not essential
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of UK payroll processes
