Robert Half is partnering with a sustainable solutions for construction company in search for a talented and skilled HR Payroll Specialist.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes and support HR functions. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing while also assisting with HR tasks such as employee benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in payroll systems, and has a strong understanding of HR best practices.

Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Process and administer payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and finance teams.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage year-end payroll processes, including tax filings and reporting.
  • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

HR Support:

  • Assist with new employee onboarding, including setting up payroll, benefits enrollment, and HR system updates.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide HR-related support for employee queries regarding compensation, benefits, and company policies.
  • Participate in HR projects related to performance management, engagement, and compliance.
  • Assist with offboarding, including final payroll processing and exit interviews.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, SAP, Workday) and HR software.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
