Robert Half has partnered with a Project Management & Construction company to find a HR Manager to join their dynamic and thriving team. The HR Manager will be the driving force behind the company’s people operations, providing support across the full employee lifecycle. From onboarding to offboarding, performance management to legal compliance, this role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance the HR function in a business committed to high standards, collaboration, and staff wellbeing.

Part-Time

Reporting to: Finance Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Data & Compliance
    • Maintain comprehensive and confidential employee records (digital and paper).
    • Monitor probation periods, employee milestones, and service anniversaries.
    • Ensure legal compliance around Right to Work, contract documentation, and policy updates.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding
    • Prepare and issue contracts and offer letters.
    • Deliver effective onboarding and induction processes in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Manage leaver administration in coordination with Payroll, IT, and Office Management.
  • Performance & HR Operations
    • Support directors with performance reviews, HR correspondence (promotions, salary increases).
    • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate updates to salaries, benefits, and employment status.
  • Recruitment & Strategic Hiring
    • Work with senior leadership to develop and implement a robust recruitment process.
    • Assist in attracting and selecting candidates aligned with company culture and goals.
  • HR Administration
    • Oversee contracts, handbooks, and job descriptions.
    • Track and report on annual leave, absenteeism, and unpaid sickness.
    • Manage third-party HR-related services including private medical clinics and benefits providers.
  • People Support & Culture
    • Support directors with employee relations matters including disciplinary issues and return-to-work meetings.
    • Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team on employee engagement initiatives.
    • Provide mentorship to junior team members and help nurture a positive workplace culture.
