Our client is recruiting for an immediately available HR Advisor to join their Cardiff based team. They will provide comprehensive specialist HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employment matters, with a focus on employee relations including performance and absence management, and HR casework. Support the implementation of HR policies and practices in line with organisational values, striving for service excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify HR issues and provide informed advice to ensure appropriate resolution aligned with employment legislation.
  • Manage complex cases involving terms and conditions, employee relations, performance, redundancies, and TUPE.
  • Ensure consistency in HR processes and support their correct application.
  • Provide responsive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including data analysis to inform management decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and make effective use of HR systems, tools, and resources.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support HR service delivery during team absences.

Key Relationships:

  • Internal: HR and People teams, department managers, support services, employee representatives.
  • External: Regulatory and professional bodies as required.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified.
  • Proven experience managing HR cases in complex, dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in advising staff at all levels and analysing HR data for reporting.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a high level of interpersonal sensitivity and professionalism.
