This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced people manager to lead a high-volume Accounts Payable function of approximately 25 people, including four direct reports. The business is looking for someone who can inspire, develop and lead from the front, creating a high-performing, engaged team while driving continuous improvement across the function. The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring operational excellence whilst identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of approximately 25 people through four team leaders.
- Creating a positive, high-performance culture where individuals are supported, challenged and developed.
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across a complex, multi-site business.
- Ensuring supplier payments are accurate, timely and compliant.
