This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in providing professional, thoughtful and efficient finance support within a busy and dynamic organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the wider finance team, the Management Accountant will play a key part in delivering a high-quality finance service across the organisation and its associated entities. The role contributes to all areas of finance activity, including financial analysis, reporting, budget management, VAT management, compliance and process improvement.
The successful candidate will also provide support to the payroll function and the wider accounts team, and will be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and suggest improvements as part of the ongoing development of the department. The successful candidate will keep up to date with changes in financial legislation and will have a solid understanding of producing statutory accounts and managing external audits.
Strong relationship-building skills are essential, combining professionalism and empathy to ensure fair, consistent and effective financial solutions.
