Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Halifax. This is an unusual and highly interesting opportunity, with a strong emphasis on cash flow and treasury management at a time when the complexity of the business is increasing significantly. As the organisation continues to grow, this role will play a key part in strengthening day-to-day financial control while also supporting wider finance activity across the business.
The role
- Ownership of cash flow forecasting and monitoring, ensuring the business has clear visibility and control as requirements become more complex
- Supporting treasury management, including banking relationships, funding movements and short- to medium-term cash planning
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Monitoring working capital, cash conversion and liquidity
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Getting involved in broader finance duties as the business scales, including process improvement and ad hoc projects
The ideal candidate
- Strong experience in cash flow management; exposure to treasury or funding processes would be highly advantageous
- Comfortable operating in a growing, evolving environment
