- 60,000 (DOE)Location: Gloucester, office based Role: Finance Manager Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and develop the finance team, overseeing day-to-day activitiesOversee the preparation and production of monthly management accountsReview financial results, investigate variances against budget and forecast, and provide meaningful commentary on performanceSupport the month-end close processMonitor costs, margins and operational performance, with a particular focus on manufacturing-related financial metricsWork closely with operational and senior management teamsEnsure robust financial controls and processes are maintained across the businessIdentify opportunities to improve reporting processes, efficiencies and the overall effectiveness of the finance functionRequirements: Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior management accounting rolePrevious experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is essentialExperience of producing and reviewing monthly management accountsPrevious experience line managing, motivating and developing a finance team.
