Financial Planning & Analyst in Bridgend

Robert Half are excited to be working with an industry leading organisation to recruit a Commercially astute Financial Accountant, based in Cardiff.

They are offering a competitive: salary up of Circa £50,000 + growth opportunities, 25 days Annual leave + Bank Holidays, Early finish Friday.

This role you would be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to enhance financial performance.

Duties to include but not limited to

• Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts
• Conduct variance analysis vs budget/forecast/prior years and provide actionable insights
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Monthly P&L preparation from Sales to Gross Profit Margin
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases
• KPI reporting including key sales initiatives, new product development and sales price tracking
• Capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting
• Track capex spend vs budget vs CER
• Maintain fixed asset register
