About the Role:

We're seeking a hands-on and forward-thinking Interim Finance Consultant/Controller to support our CFO in building and establishing core finance processes from scratch. This role is ideal for someone comfortable navigating ambiguity and excited to shape the finance function.
Rate: £380 - £400pd (Via Umbrella)
Location: Central Bristol (Hybrid 1 day a week)
Duration: 3 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the CFO to establish and implement robust month-end close and financial reporting processes from the ground up
- Design and build management reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial data
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting setup in line with evolving business requirements
- Develop cash flow models and forecasting tools to support short- and medium-term planning
- Identify process gaps and set up scalable financial controls and procedures
- Bring a creative and practical mindset to problem-solving in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred)
- Strong excel skills
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and process development
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
