Job Description
Robert Half is partnering this international manufacturing and engineering company in the appointment of a Site Financial Controller.

This is a high-impact finance leadership role sitting at the heart of the site leadership team. You will play a key part in driving financial performance, shaping strategy, and supporting growth plans, ensuring budgets, forecasts and long-term objectives are not just met, but exceeded.
What You'll Be Doing

Deliver clear, timely, and insightful financial reporting to support strong decision-making at site level.

Lead the development of site Budgets, Forecasts, and longer-term Financial Plans.

Act as a trusted Finance Partner to the Leadership Team, clearly setting out the financial impact of options and decisions.

Ensure Finance Policies, Controls, and Governance are fully embedded and operating effectively.

Prepare and review robust Business Cases to support investment, sourcing, and operational decisions.

Provide financial input and approval for Customer Quotes and Proposals through formal review processes.

Oversee accurate Financial Accounting and Reporting for the site.

Support the rollout and ongoing use of Group Financial Systems, including Standard Costing.

Maintain and analyse Standard Costs, identifying variances and driving corrective actions.

Ensure systems and processes meet Customer and Regulatory Financial Reporting requirements.

Work closely with External Auditors to deliver smooth and efficient audits.

Identify and manage Foreign Currency Exposure.

Submit Tax Information to support Group Tax Reporting.

Partner with Site Leadership to improve processes, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Lead, coach, and develop Finance Team members
Working as part of the wider finance team, you will contribute your expertise to group finance projects as needed, support reviews of financial controls across other sites, and help drive continuous improvement across all finance activities.
YOU:

Qualified Accountant ( CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
-
Experience working with ERP Systems and Reporting Tools in a Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of UK direct and indirect tax
- Confident communicator with previous managerial responsibility.
