Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary Finance Analyst to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Prepare and maintain short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts, including weekly and 13-week projections.
  • Analyse large and complex data sets to support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Compile and present reports using historical financial data, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain three-statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
  • Review and analyse royalty income and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Support treasury activities, including monitoring working capital and assessing liquidity requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to align forecasts with financial close, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Assess operating cash requirements, including forecasting expected cash inflows and planning outgoing payments.
  • Review and interpret weekly actual results to update forecasts and provide variance analysis against plan.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, challenging existing ways of working and contributing to enhanced efficiency.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly forecasting updates to finance leadership and key business stakeholders.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate large data sets, automate reporting, and improve model accuracy.

The successful temporary Finance Analyst will have experience with large data sets, cash flow, and three-statement models. You must be immediate or 1 week's notice to be considered for this role.
