We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team near Falkirk, Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in management accounting to contribute to a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and associated reporting
- Post journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Liaise with department heads to support forecasts, budgets, and five-year plans
- General accounting and completion of various tax returns
- Support departmental cost control and financial planning
- Assist with coding invoices and port-related tenant recharges/recoverable works
The Ideal Candidate:
- QBE, part-qualified, or ACCA finalist
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Able to work effectively to deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Good business acumen and organisational skills
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (for occasional travel)
