We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team near Falkirk, Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in management accounting to contribute to a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and associated reporting
  • Post journals, including accruals and prepayments
  • Liaise with department heads to support forecasts, budgets, and five-year plans
  • General accounting and completion of various tax returns
  • Support departmental cost control and financial planning
  • Assist with coding invoices and port-related tenant recharges/recoverable works

The Ideal Candidate:

  • QBE, part-qualified, or ACCA finalist
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Able to work effectively to deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Good business acumen and organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders

Additional Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (for occasional travel)
