Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading financial services organisation to recruit a Power Platform Consultant on an initial 6 month contract basis. Hybrid working - London based.

Seeking a hands-on, delivery-focused Power Platform Consultant to support a business-critical automation and reporting programme. This is a "doer" role for someone who can quickly understand manual workflows, design scalable automation solutions, and enhance existing Power BI reporting capability. You will work directly with business stakeholders to translate operational processes into robust, production-ready Power Platform solutions.

Role

  • Analyse and map manual business processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Design, build, optimise and troubleshoot Power Automate flows (cloud and desktop where required)
  • Enhance and support existing Power BI datasets, data models, and dashboards
  • Develop scalable, maintainable Power Platform solutions aligned to best practice
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Improve governance, documentation, and solution structure where necessary
  • Support integrations across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate (build, optimise, troubleshoot)
  • Solid practical experience with Power BI (datasets, data modelling, DAX, dashboards)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including: SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams
  • Proven ability to translate manual processes into automated solutions
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders in a consultative capacity
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience

  • Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio exposure
  • SQL and data querying experience
  • Microsoft Fabric knowledge
  • Experience within Financial Services or regulated environments
  • Experience with governance and best practice implementation across Power Platform
