About the Role:

As a key member of the Executive Team, you'll ensure the financial health, sustainability, and compliance of the organisation, while driving their new Strategic Framework and Business Plan, fueled by a recent Creative Scotland funding uplift. Combining financial expertise and people-focused leadership, you'll align strategies to support their artistic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial strategy, reporting, and governance to ensure stability and transparency.
  • Drive human resources initiatives, including workforce planning, policy development, and employee engagement.
  • Support strategic planning, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Serve as a key liaison for funders, sponsors, auditors, and external partners.

What You'll Need:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant financial leadership experience.
  • Proven expertise in charity or cultural organisation financial management.
  • Strong commercial skills, including income modeling and VAT compliance.
  • Deep understanding of employment law and HR practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

The salary range for the post is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum dependent on experience plus a competitive benefits package.
