We are pleased to be working with a Charity based in Kidlington that are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team. This position will lead and manage the charity's finances, ensuring strategic financial planning, reporting and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a not-for-profit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial systems, budgets, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Provide strategic financial advice to management and trustees, identifying risks and opportunities
- Line manage and mentor the finance team
- Manage core finance functions: multi-currency payables/receivables, reconciliations, and reporting
- Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for management and trustees
- Manage year-end accounts, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure internal controls, payroll, cash flow, and donor compliance
- Support funding proposals and income generation through financial guidance
