Metal Commodity Trading Internal Auditor – Contracting Coverage: Fieldwork support for an audit engagement approved under 2025 audit and assurance plan for the Marketing & Functions assurance portfolio Metal Commodities Tasks: Support audit planning activities and execution of fieldwork (control design and operating effectiveness assessment) against a defined audit work programme and execution plan. Work under the direction of the Engagement Lead and Engagement Supervisor. Deliverables: Fieldwork deliverables (including workpapers and exceptions) for areas of responsibility as defined in the work programme. Diligent execution of planning and fieldwork as defined in the respective audit work programme. This will involve walkthroughs, review of documentation and control design and operating effectiveness assessments. Document results of fieldwork as defined in the methodology and other relevant procedures. This includes addressing any review feedback from supervisory activities. Provide value-add insights and risk identification during fieldwork, as necessary. Contribute to formulating of exceptions, audit findings and audit report conclusions. Participation in audit meetings and team-wide knowledge sharing where appropriate.
