Our client is looking for immediate, temporary, Payroll Manager to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Streamline and standardise payroll procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across all regions.
- Develop and implement a global payroll system, fostering cohesion and efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of payroll transactions to guarantee accuracy and adherence to payment schedules.
- Approve and oversee any necessary changes to payroll, such as tax deductions, bonuses, and expense reimbursements.
- Provide guidance and training to payroll-involved employees, equipping them with the knowledge of tax regulations and best practices.
- Proactively resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and effectively, prioritising employee satisfaction and trust.
- Ensure strict compliance with payroll and tax regulations, safeguarding the company's integrity and reputation.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance and HR teams to generate insightful payroll reports and forecasts.
- Use your problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise and identify opportunities for process optimisation.
- Participate in external audits, ensuring transparency and accountability in our payroll operations.
- Act as a reliable point of contact, responding promptly and accurately to employee inquiries related to payroll.
- Stay abreast of labour legislation and changes in employee insurance and tax regulations, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
The successful, temporary Payroll Manager will have 7+ years experience within a similar payroll position and have experience with UK, US and EMEA payroll. You must have strong Excel skills. You must be immediate or 1 week's notice to be considered for this role.
