Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Real Estate Company in London to recruit an immediate, temporary Credit Control Clerk for 3-6 months.

Role: Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Credit Control Clerk to assist them for 3-6 months. You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Managing 800-900 accounts: Responsible for overseeing a large and diverse portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring accurate maintenance of account information, timely communication, and effective prioritisation.
  • Managing an £8 million ledger: Handling a high-value ledger, ensuring accurate reconciliation, tracking outstanding balances, and maintaining strong financial controls.
  • Billing: Processing and issuing invoices in a timely and accurate manner, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Credit and debits off ledger: Managing the posting and reconciliation of credits, debits, and adjustments to ensure the ledger reflects accurate, up-to-date financial information.
  • Aged debt management: Monitoring aged debt reports, identifying overdue accounts, escalating risks, and implementing strategies to reduce the overall aged debt profile.
  • Updating bad debt: Assessing accounts for potential bad debt, preparing write-off recommendations, updating bad debt provisions, and working closely with relevant stakeholders to minimise losses.

Profile: The successful Interim Credit Control Clerk will either be a Finance graduate looking to gain entry level finance experience or you will have 2+ years experience in Credit Control. You must be immediate or 1 week's notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits: These temporary Accounts Payable roles will be paying circa £15-£20 per hour, dependent on experience.
