Robert Half are recruiting a Financial Accountant role on a permanent basis with a growing business based in Cheltenham. This is a hybrid role suiting someone who has recently qualified (or a finalist) with experience of statutory reporting or audit experience.
The Financial Accountant will play a key role in the business's year end reporting and maintenance of financial controls. The role will involve but not be limited to:
- Liaising with auditors and leading on the audit.
- Maintaining financial controls.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparing financial statements under IFRS.
- Supporting with tax related matters.
The Financial Accountant role would suit someone with the following skills or attributes:
- Newly qualified and upwards ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
- A background in audit within an accountancy firm or industry experience in a financial reporting role.
- Experience within a highly regulated industry such as insurance or financial services would be an advantage.
