Robert Half are working with a dynamic organisation recognised for their ambitious M&A activity is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to lead their finance team through a period of positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure robust reporting through a period of rapid business expansion.
- Provide hands-on leadership to the finance function, ideally with experience managing and developing a team within a fast-paced environment.
- Act as finance lead for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics, supporting business integration, data migration, and process optimisation.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, streamline procedures, and enhance financial controls.
- Support post-acquisition integration, ensuring seamless financial reporting and compliance.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role within an acquisitive or transformation-focused business.
- Proven capabilities managing, developing, and mentoring finance teams.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/system implementation, previous use of Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Available to start on short notice for an interim assignment.
