As part of its continued expansion, the business is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join a high-performing investment and capital markets team.
This is a unique opportunity for an analytically strong finance professional to gain broad exposure across investor relations, transaction execution, portfolio performance, structured finance and capital raising activities within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Working directly with senior leadership and institutional investors, you will play an instrumental role in supporting funding initiatives, analysing investment opportunities and managing relationships with capital providers.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain sophisticated cashflow and financial models to support investment and funding activities.
Analyse portfolio performance and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Support the execution of funding transactions from origination through to completion.
Prepare investment papers, presentations and marketing materials for institutional investors.
Assist with due diligence processes and coordinate information requests across multiple stakeholders.
Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, lenders and funding partners.
Monitor market developments and identify trends within credit, lending and structured finance markets.
Work cross-functionally with finance, credit, operations and commercial teams to deliver strategic funding objectives.
Contribute to the ongoing development of funding structures and investment products.
Drive improvements in reporting, data analysis and investment processes.
Skills & Experience Proven experience within Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory or a similar analytical finance environment.
Strong financial modelling and cashflow forecasting capabilities.
Excellent understanding of financial markets, credit products and risk analysis.
Demonstrable experience supporting transactions and managing stakeholder relationships.
Strong commercial awareness combined with exceptional analytical skills.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise.
Highly motivated, proactive and comfortable operating within a fast-growth environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with structured finance, securitised products or institutional funding markets would be advantageous.
Exposure to SQL or data analysis tools would be beneficial.
