A global SaaS organisation is building a cutting-edge, multi-agent AI platform designed to transform how enterprise clients interact with complex data. Developed in-house, this strategic platform is now entering a pivotal hardening and MVP phase. We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work alongside the AI Platform Lead to scale the architecture, strengthen reliability, and drive engineering excellence as the system moves toward global production. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on delivery, robustness, and refining a sophisticated graph-based agent engine.
What You'll Be Working On
- Agent Orchestration
- Hardening multi-step reasoning workflows
- Scaling graph-based execution logic
- Optimising agent collaboration patterns
- Tool Integration
- Benchmarking and fine-tuning integrations within an established agent framework
- Extending bespoke toolchains for enterprise use
- Inference & Performance Engineering
- Optimising LLM integration and prompt lifecycle management
- Improving latency, cost efficiency, and model performance
- State & Reliability
- Strengthening Redis-backed persistence
- Ensuring consistency across complex, stateful interactions
- Enhancing service reliability at scale
- Evaluation & Observability
- Building regression frameworks
- Implementing tracing, monitoring, and enterprise-grade observability
What We're Looking For
- Strong Python engineering experience building production-grade systems
- Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications and agent orchestration (e.g. LangGraph or similar graph-based frameworks)
- Experience with stateful systems, caching, and reliability engineering
- Proficiency with FastAPI, Docker, and Redis
- Comfortable operating in a small, senior, high-impact engineering team
