A global SaaS organisation is building a cutting-edge, multi-agent AI platform designed to transform how enterprise clients interact with complex data. Developed in-house, this strategic platform is now entering a pivotal hardening and MVP phase. We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work alongside the AI Platform Lead to scale the architecture, strengthen reliability, and drive engineering excellence as the system moves toward global production. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on delivery, robustness, and refining a sophisticated graph-based agent engine.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Agent Orchestration
    • Hardening multi-step reasoning workflows
    • Scaling graph-based execution logic
    • Optimising agent collaboration patterns
  • Tool Integration
    • Benchmarking and fine-tuning integrations within an established agent framework
    • Extending bespoke toolchains for enterprise use
  • Inference & Performance Engineering
    • Optimising LLM integration and prompt lifecycle management
    • Improving latency, cost efficiency, and model performance
  • State & Reliability
    • Strengthening Redis-backed persistence
    • Ensuring consistency across complex, stateful interactions
    • Enhancing service reliability at scale
  • Evaluation & Observability
    • Building regression frameworks
    • Implementing tracing, monitoring, and enterprise-grade observability

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Python engineering experience building production-grade systems
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications and agent orchestration (e.g. LangGraph or similar graph-based frameworks)
  • Experience with stateful systems, caching, and reliability engineering
  • Proficiency with FastAPI, Docker, and Redis
  • Comfortable operating in a small, senior, high-impact engineering team
