Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Cambridge for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a varied and hands-on workload within a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating operational processes and maintaining accurate business documentation
- Managing product deliveries, logistics administration, and export-related documentation
- Supporting quality standards through process improvement and the introduction of new procedures
- Liaising with the finance team to manage and track purchase orders
- Assisting with health and safety administration, including maintaining chemical safety records
- Providing general office and administrative support across the business
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative activities and supporting junior administrative staff
- Offering operational and administrative support to senior stakeholders as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience coordinating domestic and international shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational ability with high attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with electronic document management or filing systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an office or operational environment
