Job Description
Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading utilities organisation to recruit a Business Central IT Support Analyst on a contract basis – start ASAP.
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Analyst, you'll provide functional and technical support to end-users across the business. You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, training, and optimisation of Business Central, ensuring continuity of business operations, efficient working, accurate reporting and helping to drive system improvements.
Role
- The Business Central IT Support Analyst will provide day-to-day application support for Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Investigate and resolve user issues and system errors efficiently
- Manage BC Support inbox and 'tickets' raised ensuring timely resolution
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party vendors for escalations and enhancements
- Keep abreast of Business Central developments, new capabilities and features to ensure best practice solutions are in place
- Document support resolutions, processes, and procedures
Profile
- The Business Central IT Support Analyst will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (especially Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Fixed Asset modules)
- Understanding of permissions, role management, and security setup within Business Central – Understanding of business processes and how they map into Business Central workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to interpret technical issues into user friendly language
- At least a year of providing user support and resolving day-to-day operational issues
- Previously provided support to finance teams – Building JET report
