I'm working with a high-performing investment business looking for a Business Applications Analyst to operate across data, technology, and front-office teams. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a documentation-heavy BA position. You'll be working closely with portfolio managers, traders, and reporting teams to solve complex problems, improve systems, and deliver scalable solutions.
What you'll be doing:
- Partnering with the business to understand and challenge requirements
- Turning complex needs into practical, scalable solutions
- Supporting delivery of system enhancements and projects
- Owning issues end-to-end, including 3rd line support across investment systems
- Driving process improvements, automation, and data quality
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Strong SQL and confidence working with data
- Solid business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of the SDLC and testing
- Clear, confident communication
Nice to have:
- Asset management or financial services experience
- Exposure to OMS, trading, accounting, or performance systems
- Power BI, SSRS, Python or similar
- Any cloud exposure (Azure/AWS)
