Job Description Senior Finance Business PartnerRobert Half is partnering with a well-established organisation based in Bristol, is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to work closely with budget holders across the business, providing expert financial guidance and helping to protect the long-term financial health of the organisation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and investment decision-making, while developing and maintaining robust long-term cost models. The RoleProvide effective financial guidance to budget holders throughout the budgeting and forecasting cycleSupport budget holders with accurate monitoring of monthly management accounts, identifying and explaining variancesSupport budget holders in valuing risks and assessing investment decisions, including input into business casesDevelop and maintain accurate long-term cost models and contract clause calculationsPrepare month-end journals to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accountsMaintain best-practice finance business partnering policiesBuild strong, collaborative relationships with budget holders, ensuring early involvement in financial risks and decisionsManage and coach a small team, supporting their development and performanceMaintain business finance processes and controls that support accurate, timely decision-making and long-term cost managementAbout YouPart-qualified or fully qualified in a relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA); qualified candidates with post-qualification experience are especially encouraged to applyStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term cost modellingWorking knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102) and IFRS as relevant to the roleConfident building relationships with non-finance stakeholders and translating financial information for a wider audienceExperience supporting or managing a small team is desirableA proactive, analytical approach with excellent attention to detailStrong IT and systems skills, with a willingness to develop digital capability furtherLong term contracts experience would be desirableWhat's on OfferSalary up to £62,000, depending on experienceBased in BristolThe opportunity to join a collaborative, values-driven finance team with genuine scope for progressionIf this sounds like your next move, we'd love to hear from you.
