Robert Half has partnered with a major infrastructure business to recruit for an Investment Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) and can be based in Bristol or Glasgow.
The Role
The Investment Analyst will support a large-scale, long-term low-carbon infrastructure project, providing financial insight to inform commercial and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership and ongoing maintenance of a complex investment case financial model
- Producing financial analysis and reporting to support investment, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements
- Working closely with finance, supply chain, and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost and performance data
- Maintaining and updating key financial assumptions, including inflation and foreign exchange
- Supporting post-financial close activities, including equity and shareholder-related analysis
The Candidate
Background in either accounting or financial analysis. Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) or equivalent analytical experience. Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Excel skills. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams. Eligible for UK security vetting (typically UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years).
Package & Benefits
Salary: £54,000 - £62,000. 5% bonus. 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. Up to 15% employer pension contribution. Hybrid working with long-term flexibility.
