As the business continues to grow and evolve, we're looking for a commercially minded Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant to join our finance team in Bodmin. This is a newly created opportunity with real visibility across the business, partnering closely with Sales, Operations and Senior Leadership whilst helping shape future reporting, forecasting and business intelligence capability. This is far more than a traditional reporting role, you'll take ownership of sales reporting, forecasting, budgeting and performance insight across a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll act as a key link between Finance and Sales, ensuring the business has accurate, meaningful and timely information to support decision making. Producing insightful sales, margin and profitability reporting Developing and maintaining financial models and reporting tools Providing account-level analysis for major customers and sales managers Supporting month-end reporting and financial analysis Producing ad hoc commercial reporting and trend analysis Working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Procurement, Operations and Finance Supporting group reporting requirements and data development initiatives Utilising Excel, Power BI and data tools to turn information into actionable business insight Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountants Experienced part-qualified accountants with strong commercial analysis skills Second movers seeking broader commercial exposure Strong Excel skills, including Power Query and advanced data manipulation Exposure to Power BI and business intelligence reporting Confidence working with non-finance stakeholders Manufacturing, FMCG or food production experience (desirable) Annual bonus of up to 5% Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home) + wider benefits Great food, on us - From free staff bakes and fresh fruit to quarterly team BBQs and a subsidised canteen, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy good food with colleagues.
