Robert Half is proud to be representing a dynamic manufacturing business in Blaenau Gwent seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on sales analysis, business partnering, and driving commercial insight across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with the Senior Finance Business Partner to support strategic decision-making
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting (currently 40-50% of the role, evolving with SAP implementation)
- Analyse sales performance, forecast accuracy, and profitability margins
- Present actionable insights to the MD and senior leadership
- Prepare board-level presentations and monthly meeting decks
- Manage rebate calculations and ensure accuracy
- Support intercompany sales and commercial analysis
- Track non-product costs, transport, and freight spend
- Provide cover for the Operations Management Accountant when needed
What You'll Bring
- Strong management accounting experience in a commercial or manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and data manipulation (Excel wizardry essential!)
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Power BI or other analytics tools preferred
- Adaptive, analytical, and commercially curious mindset
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
