As the business expands, it is investing in its finance function by creating its first dedicated in-house Tax Manager role.Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll become the Group's tax specialist, taking ownership of tax across the organisation while helping shape and build the tax function for the future. You'll work closely with the CFO, Financial Accounting team and external advisers, providing technical expertise across both compliance and strategic projects.This is far more than a traditional tax compliance position. You'll play a key role in acquisitions, integration activities and the continual evolution of the Group's tax governance as the business continues to grow.For an ambitious tax professional, this offers genuine visibility, influence and a clear pathway towards a future Head of Tax position.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Group's first point of contact for all corporate tax matters.Take ownership of the Group's corporate tax processes, ensuring compliance across multiple legal entities.Lead the delivery of Corporation Tax compliance and reporting obligations.Support tax reporting requirements across UK and international entities, including Ireland.Provide tax support throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including:Reviewing external tax due diligence.Assessing tax risks and opportunities.Implementing post-acquisition recommendations.Develop and enhance tax governance, controls and internal processes as the Group continues to scale.Partner with senior finance stakeholders to provide commercially focused tax advice on strategic business decisions.Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reduce risk and increase operational efficiency.About YouWe're looking for an ambitious tax professional who enjoys operating within a dynamic, fast-moving business where they can genuinely make an impact.Previous in-house tax experience within a listed or private equity-backed business.Strong knowledge of UK Corporation Tax and complex group structures.Exposure to acquisitions, tax due diligence and post-deal integration.The confidence to work independently as the Group's tax subject matter expert.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior finance leaders and external advisers.Newly created role with the opportunity to shape the Group's tax function.Significant exposure to acquisitions and integration projects.High visibility with the Finance Director and CFO.Clear long-term progression as the business continues its acquisitive growth journey.Collaborative finance leadership team with access to leading external advisers.Robert Half is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
