Contract: Interim (Inside IR35)The Opportunity A manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to improve reporting, forecasting, controls and commercial visibility across the finance function.

This is a hands-on role focused on enhancing the quality and timeliness of financial information, providing management with better insight to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Improve finance processes, controls and management reporting.

Develop a weekly profitability dashboard with meaningful KPIs.

Deliver monthly Board Packs within 7 working days of month-end.

Introduce product-level margin and profitability reporting.

Review BOMs and strengthen costing accuracy.

Implement a rolling 12-month forecast and variance analysis.

Enhance monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.

Partner with operational stakeholders to improve commercial decision-making.

Support and develop the existing finance team, embedding best practice.

Candidate Profile Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).

Previous Financial Controller experience within manufacturing.

Strong management reporting and forecasting expertise.

Experience improving finance processes, systems and controls.

Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Able to identify issues quickly and deliver practical improvements at pace.
