Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy and fast-paced finance team based in Birmingham City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships, managing a high-volume ledger, and driving cash collection performance. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, resolving account queries, and ensuring outstanding balances are collected efficiently. Managing a high-volume portfolio of customer accounts. Chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email, and written correspondence. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices. Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts. Monitoring aged debt reports and escalating overdue accounts when necessary. Working closely with operational teams to resolve billing issues and remove barriers to payment. Maintaining accurate customer account records and detailed collection notes. Previous Credit Control experience is essential. Ability to manage a large ledger and prioritise workload effectively. Good attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems. Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team. Immediately available or available at short notice preferred. Birmingham City Centre location. Immediate start available. Weekly pay and competitive hourly rate.
