Job Description We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, growing business on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and providing meaningful financial insight to support business performance. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of the management accounts process, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across financial reporting and controls. Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary. Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances. Analyse financial performance and provide insight to senior stakeholders. Monitor key business metrics, profitability and margin performance. Support year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting. Assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis and finance projects. Part-qualified, studying, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role. Strong month-end and management accounts experience. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data. Exposure to stock, inventory or product-based businesses.
