Job Description

**Senior Benefits & Compliance Specialist- Part of HR Function**

Required Language: English AND French or Italian or Spanish

Robert Half is partnering with a consultancy firm based in London in the search for a Senior Benefits & Compliance Specialist.

The Role:

This position will act as a key resource providing support to the firm in the areas of compliance, compensation, benefits, and reporting. This position reports to the Senior Director of Compensation and Benefits and will work closely with legal, payroll and accounting staff, as well as the European Office Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Director of Compensation & Benefits to research and establish appropriate benefit plans for European employees
  • Ensure benefit plans are clearly outlined and communicated to staff and employees enrolled as appropriate and respond to related questions or issues raised by employees
  • Maintain administration of all HR benefit and systems on-boarding and off-boarding processes and notify appropriate groups of employment changes
  • Ensure that employee data and deductions are accurately maintained and audited in payroll
  • Work with the Senior Manager of Compensation & Compliance, and the Senior Director of Compensation & Benefits to ensure compliance of benefit programs
  • Coordinate and distribute all required materials and communications, and coordinate with third-party vendors to complete necessary compliance testing and filings
  • Support ad hoc compensation projects (i.e. audit, country specific compensation regulations) and research market data for Corporate Services & Consulting positions

Ideal Candidate:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a benefits and/or compliance related position; experience in compensation administration/support is a plus
  • Experience with a full range of employee benefits plans
  • Knowledge of benefit laws
  • Experience with ADP WFN or other similar HR information system
  • Experience in a professional services firm highly desired
  • Experience working with remote locations desired
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in French or Italian or Spanish is required
