The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring operational excellence whilst identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working.
Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting month-end activities and leading improvement projects across the function.
About You
We are looking for a confident and approachable leader who enjoys developing people just as much as improving processes. You will ideally bring:
- Experience leading a large Accounts Payable or Shared Services team, ideally managing 15-20+ people.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams.
- A calm, collaborative management style with the confidence to challenge when needed.
- Experience operating within a high-volume, multi-site environment.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- A proactive, forward-thinking approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
The Opportunity

The finance function is highly visible within the business, and this role offers real scope to influence how the Accounts Payable function operates while developing a large team and contributing to wider business improvements.
The business offers a hybrid working model (three days per week in the North Wales head office), a competitive salary of £85,000-£90,000, bonus and an excellent benefits package.
