Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Abingdon to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £60,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working (2 days in the office, 3 days working from home).

This is a commercial role and would best suit someone with business partnering experience.

  • Fully support the financial activities of the group entities, servicing the NHS & private patients directly.
  • Conduct monthly financial closure activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliation of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls.
  • Prepare Management reports and commentary providing financial performance and key insights for the business.
  • Assist the FP&A manager with the annual budgeting and forecast processes, providing support and analysis of risks and opportunities as needed.
  • Participate in audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Experience with Monthly Closure processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central are desirable).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
