A growing international business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team, supporting both UK and wider European entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and exposure to multi-currency accounting within a fast-paced environment.
This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 and a balanced hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days home).
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, variance analysis, and supporting commentaries.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries across UK and European entities.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial reporting in line with company policies and US accounting standards.
- Assist with statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements.
- Provide documentation and support during external audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve financial queries and contribute to process improvements.
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of multi-currency accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Oracle or OneStream is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.
