- . The Accountant will receive a salary of up to

- Primary responsibilities;
- Manage and coordinate month end balance sheet reporting for Direct and Indirect channel including intercompany and cash balances reconciliation within agreed deadlines.
- Monthly Indirect Channel income statement actual and forecasts submissions to group within agreed deadlines, with supporting analysis and commentary required for monthly reviews with group function.
- Business Partnering with the Indirect Channel to support business strategy and growth.
- Budget preparation and submission for Indirect Channel.
- Fixed assets management ensuring compliance with group and local accounting standards: accurate and timely assets capitalisation, monthly depreciation, and disposal reporting, as well as budget submission, and monitoring of actuals vs budget.
- Stock records management ensuring correct cost of sales and inventory reporting.
- Monthly prepayments/accruals reconciliation and recognition in income statements.
- Bank reconciliation for all business accounts.
- Monthly VAT reconciliation and support with quarterly VAT reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Key experience and attributes;
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA finalist or newly qualified
- Balance sheet and month end experience
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and tax principles
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel at the Intermediate level)
- Able to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
