The Social Media and Content Manager, based in Camden, is responsible for leading the organic social media strategy and producing engaging, high-quality content that strengthens community engagement and enhances the overall customer experience. The role also manages the creative development of paid social campaigns, working closely with internal teams and external agencies to increase brand awareness and support digital performance. Please note this is a full-time permanent role requiring 4x days a week in the office in Camden. This role will report into the Head of Marketing and will involve taking strategic ownership of the function whilst also being hands on. Ideally you will have multi-site or lifestyle industry exposure.

Social Media and Content Manager Responsibilities:
  • Organic Social Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and manage the organic social media strategy and content calendar.
    • Create high-quality content, including coverage of events and on-site activities.
    • Edit short-form video and static assets, and publish content across platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn.
    • Test and explore new social platforms to grow brand presence.
    • Lead community management by monitoring comments and messages and fostering positive engagement.
    • Develop hyper-local social strategies tailored to different locations.
    • Train and support a network of internal social ambassadors.
  • Analytics and Reporting
    • Track and report on key social media metrics, including engagement, reach, follower growth and click-through rates.
    • Produce monthly insight reports with recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Paid Social Content Creation
    • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan and deliver paid social creative.
    • Brief and manage external creative partners.
    • Identify and manage customers who may feature in paid and organic content.
    • Oversee end-to-end content shoots to ensure high-quality output.
    • Maintain a strong pipeline of creative assets, including customer stories and platform-specific variants for testing.
    • Support new initiatives, launches and corporate communications with relevant content.
Ideal Social Media and Content Manager Profile:
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Understanding of creative requirements for both organic and paid social content.
  • Ability to plan and produce multiple content variations and formats.
  • Hands-on skills in shooting and editing short-form video and photography.
  • Experience using social listening and community management tools.
  • Ability to create simple graphic design assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social performance data.
  • Experience working with external creative agencies (desirable).
